Meadow Brooks Technology Park has been proposed in the Back Creek District of Frederick County Virginia. This ‘Park’ would eradicate orchards and farm land to replace it with almost 700 acres of data centers bringing immense noise levels, using extreme amounts of water, and 8 to 10 years of significant construction on Valley Pike (Rt 11), Fairfax Pike/Marlboro Road, and Hites Road to our little community. We don’t have a problem with our wonderful farmers that want to do something different, this just isn’t the place for a bunch of data centers.

Data centers are draining our water 1-2 million gallons DAILY and radically increasing electric charges. The data center consumes these commodities and local residents are forced to pay. WRONG on so many levels! STOP ALL DATA CENTERS!

I am a tech repairman, and I understand the need for data centers, but do not agree with tearing out farmland for them, especially when there are so many other places they could be built. Also what about strain on the power grid.

We've just barely come out of a 2 year drought - adding anything that will need this much water on a daily basis would devastate the area. The current level of construction is not sustainable even without the data center. The orchards and agricultural land is far more important.

We urge county officials to prioritize smart, community centered development that addresses real local needs like education, affordable housing, and infrastructure over speculative tech ventures that benefit a few at the expense of many.

The impacts to the utility capacity of the county need to be considered. And why do we need to take farmland for this? There is an abundance of vacant industrial properties in the county that make for a better site

This data center will harm the small town rural charm of our area and I strongly oppose its construction. I implore our elected officials to heed the will of the citizens they represent and not allow this project to proceed.

Data centers interfere with locals and communities. Data centers create undrinkable water and noise that can cause mental problems. Data centers damages our environment and water supply and will cause great harm to people.

We humans and animals can't live without water, nature can't withstand the horrible frequency
