Please help us stop more accidents happening by reducing the speed limit and introducing traffic control along the stretch of road from Front Street Earsdo to Backworth, speed limit currently set at 60mph on a very narrow road with Horses and Farm Machinery crossing!!
URGENT BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED OR SERIOUSLY INJURED
The number of residents reporting near misses on this stretch of road remains high. I am currently compiling your accounts to present to the local highway department for formal review.

Terrifying road to cycle on and absolutely ridiculous to have national speed limit on it. It needs reduced before someone is killed.

Im in fear for my daughter's life when we take the pony back to the field. Drivers need to slow down on those blind corners before someone is killed

I had a crash here in 1997 I was very lucky to get away with serious whip lash and bang on the head

Road is far too narrow to be a 60mph road. It needs a lower speed limit & average speed cameras.

Leading horses across this road is very dangerous has been sevral times when fast cars come round the blind corner and have to brake really quickly , even worse with young spooky horses .

Seriously dangerous road!!! I have reported speeding cars and nothing is done. There are kids on ponies crossing on this road. There should be speed bumps at the very least on the bend before Church Farm. It’s a miracle no one has been killed!
