Terrifying road to cycle on and absolutely ridiculous to have national speed limit on it. It needs reduced before someone is killed.

This needs sorting before a serious accident happens not after.

Av had a few near misses on that road.people need to slow down

This road is used as a race track most days and using it twice daily I fear it is only a matter of time before I'm involved in an incident. I use the road to access Church Farm which is located on a sharp bend in shadow and despite indicating and visible brake lights on my car I'm aware of cars too close not expecting me to turn off the road. There is no visibility around the bend and impatient road users overtake as you slow down many near misses witnessed. I have to cross the road whist on my horse and due to the blinds bends and 60 limit by the time you have commenced crossing cars can be nearly on top of you coming from round the bend. The footpath is very narrow and pedestrians are very vulnerable when using it the slightest slip or too close to the edge a car can easily clip you. No lighting in the road causes another risk and poor road markings.

I've been nearly run off that road too many times to count.

This road is becoming a nightmare, I own a horse on Church Farm and drive this road most days, I have on many occasions been forced to move quickly out of the way on bends because of speeding drivers in the middle of the road and havong a very near miss near yhe scrap yard when a car lost control near there. It is dangerous for horses and pedestrians and as I lead my horse to the field via entrance to farm it worries me that cars speed so fast round that bend they could easily loose control, totally in support of tighter traffic control.

Cars need to be more vigilant in this road, horses and people are in danger of being hit

Please reduce the speed limit. Before someone is killed.

Totally agree with proposal to reduce speed limit bad bends and bad visibility

Im in fear for my daughter's life when we take the pony back to the field. Drivers need to slow down on those blind corners before someone is killed

I've had a few near misses by speeding morons coming round blind bends in the middle of the road.

Terrifying road to walk/cycle on. Limited pavements. Cars speeding on blind bends. Used as rat run.

I agree that speed limit needs to be introduced.. as resident Backworth travel on road frequently and cars do drive too fast and is accident waiting happen with nearby farms and livery yards having cross the road.

I have noticed over recent years so much more traffic using the road and the speed of the traffic is ever increasing, its a very very dangerous stretch of road
