The current assessment method includes emailing Dr. Cachia a photo of yours, and regular weekly updates via email to communicate what you have participated in, in class. Up to 80% of the assessment grade may be lost (16/100 awardable marks) if students fail to comply with this.

I have been meeting with department heads to discuss why these arbitrary photo requirements and email updates have no place in our grading criteria. Your stories about how much stress this adds to our workload are helping me prove that the current system is completely detached from our actual learning.

Seeing this level of support confirms that I am not the only one struggling to focus on actual learning because of these arbitrary requirements. This momentum proves that our frustrations with the current assessment method are felt across the entire faculty.

seriously why does a photo matter? focus on the code and stop wasting our time with these stupid administration tasks.
