The City of San Clemente has already approved their crossing guard budget for the 2022-2023 school year. They were not aware of the desperate need for a crossing guard at the Calle Saluda/Avenida Talega intersection. Upon inspection they admitted hundreds of children cross through here on the way to and from school. In order to approve a crossing guard this year, they need to hear from the community as the funds will come from the general fund. All signatures need to be in by 9/26 for the 10/18 meeting.
