This Petition supports the placement of a Crossing Guard at the Center Street School in Williston Park. Since the Spring of 2016, an effort commenced to secure a Crossing Guard to prevent frequent vehicular traffic violations where elementary school age cross the street. Please sign this Petition to show the Nassau County Police Department and Local Leaders the importance of this issue and to ensure that a Crossing Guard is placed at our location to help increase our elementary school children's safety.

I live close by to this intersection and see on a daily basis people blowing this stop sign!! If you can't give us a crossing guard then please send an officer there very now and again!! You will give many tickets!!!
My 2 grandsons are students at the school. They and their friends should have the highest possible safety available.
We are in desperate need for a crossing guard at this corner. We don't want to see any children, parents or staff get hurt going to or from school.
A crossing guard is desperately needed at this corner before a tragic accident that could have been avoided, occurs!
A crossing guard is definitely needed, as many people speed thru and fail to stop at the stop signs directly in front of Center Street Elementary School
please review this issues and protect our children.

This school intersection is very dangerous. I have experienced numerous occasions of crossing with my daughter being in the middle of the crossing and the driver on the opposite side accelerate faster to go by before I reach them! It is utterly appalling aside from frightening! PLEASE HEAR OUR PLEA AND PROVIDE US A CG TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!
