The vision of the Clark Elementary, as stated in the handbook, reads; "All Clark students will become productive citizens ready to succeed in a changing world". As Clark parents, we strongly support Mr. Hays as the next Clark Elementary principal. We believe he will support this vision and continue to lead our school in excellence. Mr. Hays epitomizes the skills that the the Webster Groves School District seeks and is a benefit to both our school and our community. He is familiar with the school and he has a genuine interest in the students, the teachers, and the well-being of our community. Students who have had Mr. Hays as a teacher and/or administrator have been guided by his interactions, his strong leadership, and the interest he takes in each student. There is no doubt in our mind that he is the best candidate for this job. We strongly encourage you to keep these sentiments in mind as you choose the next leader of our school.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum gathering behind this. It is clear that so many of you care just as deeply about the future of our school as I do, and this response belongs entirely to your dedication.

Hayes is a huge asset to Clark. He is exactly what we want in a principal. He's great with the kids, communicates very well with parents and simply goes beyond the call of duty. Quite frankly, we need him.
He taught my son in 5th grade and was AMAZING. He had a way of making all the kids feel special. He still keeps in contact with my son who is now a freshman in high school and LOVES going back and telling Mr. Hays Apr his achievements. 5th grade was a HUGE turning point for Eric and Mr. Hays played a pivotal role... His championing and confidence were invaluable. I can't think of any reason he wouldn't be given the job and a huge raise to boot. What an asset he is to our system.
I would love to see Mr. Hayes at he Principal of Clark Elementary. It would make for a smoother transition for both the students and parents. Our school is a tight community and Mr. Hayes is already a well lived member of that community. Please strongly consider selecting him as the next Principal of Clark school.
We would love to see Mr. Hayes become principal at Clark! He embodies everything Clark stands for and would make a great leader for our children.

Mr. Hays was a phenomenal teacher!! My son didn't even have him as a full time teacher but said he was among his favorites. This is because he puts his heart into everything he does and he makes an impact. At the 5th grade graduation his students hugged him in lieu of the typical handshake. He was a very passionate teacher who connected remarkably well with kids and parents alike and I believe he would make an exceptional Principal for Clark. He is already a well-loved part of the community and knows the ropes. This is a no-brainer!
