It is becoming apparent now that the current management of Sutton Village Hall have been mistreating their clients. Many have reported been mislead from the beginning, and have had to put up with rude, uninviting and forceful behaviour, which has resulted in upset, disruption and in some cases ruining the clients event.
This petition is to raise awareness to this behaviour And treatment to clients, in hope that a new management team can be brought in, so that no more paying customers have to deal with such unnessesary , disruptive and uncalled for behaviour. In addition the reputation of the village hall to be persevered and not to receive anymore damaging feed back brought on by the conduct inwhich the current management uphold.

They really think they own the place ...used to be you could have any licencee or disco ... but now it is frowed upon if you dont have them behind the bar or Daves Disco !!its a village hall ... not the Harrison Young Hall .
Time they went. Then maybe people may start using the hall. They also need to be removed from the sutton gala. Then people may start having stalls and a procession again. They are ruining a good community spirt.
Had our wedding reception there. Charged corkage and opened bottles we didn't want opening. Badgered my husband all day about things. Didn't provide salt for the steps outside so a guest slipped on the icy steps.
Absolute shambles, she had no compassion at all on my friends wedding day! Whacked the lights on without warning at 11.45pm and basically had her remaining guests tidying up, even though they were charged for cleaning services. Then kept the brides deposit over no fault of her own. Unfair and rude. The place would be a lot lot better run by someone else.
Don't give deposit back! Poor lady was caught up in the traffic from the fatal accident. The management have no understanding!

Had our wedding reception/breakfast/evening do here. We were very lucky to have a completely DIY wedding with a lot of help from my mum. Unfortunately, management shouted at my mum and had her in tears during the day! Very strict rules and rude attitudes. My very poorly grandad had been given a present by one of the guests. (just been a long time since they'd seen him) It was a bottle of his favourite, non the wiser to the corkage rules, he was then threatened that it would be poured down the sink if it was not removed from site! Just put a downer on the evening!

Had my sons christening here, they made it ridiculously stressful. Spoke to my family and friends like dirt, went mad for opening a door on the hottest day of the year. I'll never return while these control freaks run it
