Change the management team who run Sutton village hall

Very rude people and think they own the village

Had our wedding reception/breakfast/evening do here. We were very lucky to have a completely DIY wedding with a lot of help from my mum. Unfortunately, management shouted at my mum and had her in tears during the day! Very strict rules and rude attitudes. My very poorly grandad had been given a present by one of the guests. (just been a long time since they'd seen him) It was a bottle of his favourite, non the wiser to the corkage rules, he was then threatened that it would be poured down the sink if it was not removed from site! Just put a downer on the evening!

Why would anyone book the hall with all this going on? Certainly not me. Such a shame. Good luck.

Ruined the build up to our wedding lying and misleading with prices and things offered. The family are ruining the reputation of the hall.

I had a birthday party at the village hall, they were hiding in the ground and around corners spying on my young guest then constantly coming to me to ask for everyone inside other wise they would stop the party, which resulted with me very upset as it was ruining me night as I couldn't relax, my guest were leaving as there children could run free and do what kids do at parties (not in a disrupted way) and they were constantly in tears, the whole experience was horrendous and would never hire the hall again

No more bonfire night, no gala parade, constant attitude and rudeness. Shame on them!

Some family members wanted to have their christening there, the price, and do's and don'ts where ridiculous. Surely a village hall should be affordable for all villagers not just a select few,plus there just dam rude!

Time for change. This family is upsetting too many people!

Bob Young is fine! Christine and David are the ones that are often rude and arrogant! Everybody says the same and I numerous people that have had run ins with them in the past including close family and friends! The rest of the staff and volunteers are brilliant

Can't believe it has taken this long

I moved to the village just over a year ago, and to be honest considered hiring the hall for my children's party, but from reading reviews I would rather have loads of their friends in my home instead. I personally feel that this could change the village atmosphere and encourage more people in rather than just having that 'local feeling" and perhaps more classes could be held there or activities for children like a disco once a month on an evening. There needs to be fresh ideas brought forward and more of a friendly welcoming.

No need for little people to ruin a delightful venue and discourage potential users. I have been put off hiringnthe venue

Mean, rude, ignorant bullies. About time they were shown the door for the last time! Lifetime ban would be good!

About time!

Had my sons christening here, they made it ridiculously stressful. Spoke to my family and friends like dirt, went mad for opening a door on the hottest day of the year. I'll never return while these control freaks run it

Maybe it's time for a change. We all need new every now and again to freshen things up

Get them out disgusting who do they think they are spoiling the feel of the village
