This is a petition for CCTV on Brook Street West in Reading. Several cars have been broken in to in the last few months, and are seemingly getting worse. The Police are not interested due to lack of evidence despite this is happening 500 meters from Reading Police Station. The poor owners are the ones suffering from this yobish behaviour. CCTV will act as a deterrent and identify the criminals who should be made to pay for their crimes.
Ridiculous that this keeps happening right under the police's noses. My window was smashed last month and nothing was done. Get cameras up there now before it happens to someone else.
