We the undersigned eligible voters in local elections petition Harrow Council to install a permanent fixed or mobile CCTV camera to cover part of Ravenswood Crescent and the access road leading to Newton Farm Nursery, Infant and Junior School and Newton Park.
The recent government Policing funding cuts has seen a reduction and consolidation of frontline policing and safer neighbourhood teams affecting the Roxbourne Ward. The results have been an increase in recent anti-social and lascivious behaviour in the green leaving dangerous waste, creating car crime, allowing illegal parking on yellow zig zag lines during enforced hours, creating a hotspot for banned substance and drugs related activity and illegal encampment. This impact the local residents and also render them as victims.
We the undersigned compel Harrow Council under their responsibility and duty of Section 17 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, as amended by the Police and Justice Act 2006 to install a CCTV camera in the public interest and safety of Local Residents, School Children and Harrow Borough Citizens using the Newton Farm Park and School.

THE MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY EXPLODING AND PROVES THAT THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD IS FED UP WITH THESE ISSUES!! SEEING THIS SURGE OF ENERGY SHOWS THAT WE ARE GOING TO FORCE THE COUNCIL TO FINALLY PAY ATTENTION TO OUR SAFETY!!

It is important to keep this area safe and clean for all the pupils who attend the school and use the park.
Upon arriving daily at school it is disappointing to see constant piles of rubbish dumped in the cul-de-sac at the driveway entrance to school. This rubbish often includes drink cans and other dubious cannisters. The children need to walk around this rubbish which should not be part of their daily walk to school.
I am a parent at Newton farm school and a lot of drugs metal cylinders have been disposed of near this road as well which the children walk past and see, not good for young children to know and ask about as well as alcohol bottles left on this road. Esp since it’s near the park have heard from older generations not good as they have been robed and beaten early hours while walking their dog.
Help us safeguard our children and families as well as the litter bugs that persistently dispose rubbish, broken glass bottles...etc in Ravenswood crescent. Thanks

As parish priest i am concerned the park remains safe for everyone

When our children goes to school front of park so many dirty and bad things all the children are sawing.
It is important to keep this area safe and clean for all the pupils who attend the school and use the park.
