The city has officially granted the parking variance and liquor license for Calle 52. I am deeply appreciative of the 714 residents who engaged with this process to advocate for a more thoughtful urban landscape. We look forward to seeing this space serve our neighborhood soon.

Please help bring a locally and independently operated restaurant into the urban development area along the College corridor.
If you are a resident of Meridian Kessler
(district includes 38th Street to Kessler Blvd. and Meridian to the Monon),
please sign our petition in favor of a parking variance and liquor license for Calle 52.
Calle 52 will be a non-smoking, family dining, upscale Mexican Fusion restaurant located at 5215 N. College Avenue. Remember: Parking variances exist because the city recognizes the current parking requirements are meant for suburban development and do not apply to semi-urban areas such as Meridian Kessler. Calle 52 has 21 on site parking spaces and an evening parking agreement with a neighbor to the east to provide over 30 additional off-site spaces. Please support our petition and support urban development in your area.

The parking situation is fine as is. This area needs better food options and I would love to have a nice spot within walking distance.
sick of these outdated city codes stopping progress. just let them serve drinks and food!
We need more places like this in the neighborhood. Tired of driving all the way downtown just to get a good meal.
This would be a great addition to the corridor. The parking plan looks perfectly reasonable to me.
Enough with the suburban parking rules. It stifles local business. Let them open already!!

Yes please! That space on College has been sitting empty for way too long. Bring on the tacos.
