Scartho Ward Labour Party Branch believes that Scartho Top should have a regular bus service. Stagecoach have told us that they do not intend to start one up. With over 2,000 people now living on Scartho Top, with many more to come, we believe that the case for a bus service is overwhelming. Please add your name to this e-petition.
Stagecoach continues to ignore the thousands of residents trapped in Scartho Top without any real transport options. We are currently demanding a face to face meeting to force them to explain why they prioritize profit over basic community needs.

Stagecoach continues to ignore the thousands of us stranded here while they rake in profits elsewhere. This momentum proves they cannot keep hiding from the people they are failing.

this is a much needed service for a growing community. Over the next few years there will be a through road from the Springfield Meadows development also and to not have a bus running through the area will stop many people from purchasing these new homes. A crying shame and a disgrace.

I am disabled and have lived on Scartho Top for 14 years. We have no services at all which we were told would happen, chemist, shop etc and bus service. There was a bus but it stopped just before I moved I to my house. I have to take taxis which means I can't get out very often and it is expensive to go to the doctors, dentists etc.

I use the bus several times a week, we urgently need a bus service as the walk to the main road is ridiculous and certainly unsafe. I'm heavily pregnant and finding it very hard to even get to the road in 15 minutes! Scartho top is getting bigger quickly, it's a no brainer.

I thought the original agreement when the site was being developed was that there would be a bus route incorporated into the site, what happened?

A bus would be beneficial to all residents of Scartho Top. The amount of families with children who require access to public transport will only increase as the development of more houses takes place. And from a safety aspect would it be great if the children who attend the local area school's could use the bus.

So agree Paul - I'm hearing that some people have moved from the estate even though the house was exactly what they wanted because they couldn't get out. That is just not good enough.
