Get Stagecoach to reintroduce their Sunday service on the Interconnect 7 bus route
The people who live along this route between Boston and Skegness are starting to get annoyed that this bus route doesn't run on Sundays and Bank Holidays, and I know this because I've spoken to several passengers who use the service, and most are saying that it's an important route to get to and from Pilgrim Hospital (which is the most important reason), if they want to go out at weekends to Skegness for the day (especially in the summer), or travel to and from work, especially those who can't afford to pay for a train or taxi all the time. Back in 2009, Stagecoach East Midlands had been trialling a Sunday service on the Interconnect 7 bus route, but withdrew it in 2011 because they claimed that no one used the service. But now, some people who live along that route are now complaining. Please sign this petition to get Stagecoach East Midlands to bring back their Sunday journeys on the Interconnect 7, with at least 4 buses running each way, and Lincolnshire County Council to subsidise it, if need be. We currently only have the service running Mondays to Saturdays hourly, but it would be nice to see it running on Sundays and Bank Holidays too with 4 buses running each way on those days, regardless of how many passengers use the service!

I have been reviewing the testimonials from frequent riders who rely on this route to access medical care at Pilgrim Hospital. These accounts confirm that the current service gap creates a significant burden for those without alternative transport options. I am currently preparing a formal inquiry to be sent to both Stagecoach East Midlands and the Lincolnshire County Council regarding these findings.

The momentum behind this petition highlights the genuine need for reliable weekend transportation between Boston and Skegness. This support demonstrates that our community expects a more accessible connection to essential services like Pilgrim Hospital. It is encouraging to see such collective agreement on the importance of reintroducing Sunday service.

Cancelling the Sunday bus means that we can't get anywhere on a Sunday without paying out for a taxi. I would currently use this bus every week if I could.
This service should run because of the hospital, people get better faster if they have visitors it is so depressing in hospital and need to see family, this may be the only way family can get to the hospital, we didn't choose for our local hospital to close so please re-instate the 7 bus on Sunday's thank you
I live in a village I don't own a car so and with a elderly mother we are trapped on sundays when once we where able to enjoy the beach or a bit shopping
Shops are open on Sundays, people now class Sunday as a normal day be great if you can put the buses back on this day for those that need it
I Live in Chapel St leonards and my mum is severely disabled and regularly goes to the hospital and my sister is about to give birth and if she is in at weekend can't get to her on a Sunday and I had a job opportunity last year to work at pilgrim and had to turn it down as could not get there to work on Sundays not a way I could of afforded and would of taken longer too.
Stagecoach please get this Bus route on a Sunday for people who go out on leisure trips and stagecoach can get 57 go all the way to Spalding again from Skegness I see you know cut that back 2 Yrears ago
Be a good idea to have a Sunday service so people can get to pilgrim hospital and Skegness during the summer

Even one early morning and one late night would mean people like me who live in villages and need to get to Skegness or Boston on Sundays and can't afford cars can get out! Even if this was for the summer only in would mean villagers could have a life on Sundays
