A consensus within the Buckton Fields community has been identified that the planned development of 'Green' areas and children's facilities on the estate has been consistently and knowingly mis-sold by both Bloor and Martin Grant Homes resulting in this becoming a pivotal motivating factor of many buyers choosing to buy properties in this area.

With the 'completion' of these areas now established, the exceptionally poor standard of the children's facilities has been registered by the community. This is a particularly contentious point with residents, as the promises of these areas being built to high standard and the extensive planned play areas were a major motivating factor when buying here. These 'sales' promises have not been upheld by the developers.

This petition is to request that Bloor Homes and Martin Grant Homes honour the promises made to home buyers in their sales offices and provide Children's play areas that are to a good / excellent standard.

I was walking past the play area again today and it honestly just looks worse with every week that passes. I have heard from so many of you about how this was the main reason you picked this estate and it is infuriating that we are just being ignored by these developers right now. Please keep talking about this because we just need to keep the pressure on them until they decide to actually fix what they broke.

I really thought this might just fizzle out but seeing so many neighbors agree that we were misled by these developers is honestly overwhelming. It makes me feel much less crazy to know I am not the only one staring at these sad patches of dirt when I walk my dog.

Shocking from two massive companies, Mis selling homes to people and creating substandard play equipment.

Hardly a playground. Sad times. The children have had a tough year. Let's give them something to smile about please.

There are many young children on the estate, therefore more play facilities would be so beneficial

The equipment needs to be at a high standard (as promised) as this is an expensive/ quality area.

The parks in the estate are not child friendly at all and need to be more equipped esoecially during these times. Gym equipment also is needed

I was told by the sales team of martin grant we would be getting parks and play equipment. We have logs and one spider climbing frame and a swing for an estate of this size it’s an embarrassment

We were also promised a lovely park and feel very upset that we don’t have this on our beautiful estate and support this petition to get this resolved as soon as possible
