I was just recently informed that an extremely good teacher is being forced to resign (from multiple sources) and he is a really great teacher who shouldn't be forced to quit. I have heard that the freshman have gone to the counselor to complain about Mr Sackschewsky. Let me get one thing straight with you, he's not perfect. But he's perfect for us. Other past teachers may have been a lot less strict but then how are you supposed to learn if you don't have any motivation or someone pushing you to do so. Mr. S helps us in so many ways that you don't see. If he was a bad teacher, it would be so obvious. He finds music that we want to play, he puts together challenging music (but not too challenging), he helps organize the concerts. He's put together some of the best music we've played in our short careers as musicians. He literally does so much for us and I feel as if no one appreciates it.
tl;dr If you want Mr. S to stay as our orchestra teacher, please sign this petition.

The freshmen need to suck it up this is ridiculous. He is a very good teacher and this school should be grateful that we even have a music department like this. Firing teachers will not fix any mistakes, you need to help fix them instead. A forceful approach is never ok.
I'm not here next year, but I think he should stay. He may not be the most wonderful teacher in all of history, but I feel like people are tired from jumping from teacher to teacher. He should remain at BHS
He should stay. He has improved my little sister in so many ways when it comes to playing the violin. Honestly if the freshman that are "tattling" on him, shouldn't even be in high school yet if there getting there little feeling hurt.
Mr. S isn't always the best teacher, but he gave us what we needed. Sometimes the only way you can get the technique you need is by having a teacher that's crazy about it. He has made us all better, and given us good music to play. It is a shame that he will be leaving.
Although Mr. Saxs can be rough at times, I believe that overall he is a pretty good teacher. Keep in mind if he does get fired, someone worse may take his pkace.
You don't get to decide what everyone thinks. "it's freaking everybody out" yeah it totally is. That's why there are more people that are supporting Jason, than you, your sister, and everyone else that doesn't care if Mr. S is fired.
Do you really think that the next teacher that would take his place be any different.

It would be a great shame if a passionate teacher was forced to resign because he wants to help students improve by giving them realistic but challenging goals.
