The Franklin High School football program is great! The coaches are great and work very hard. However, the program did one thing this year that needs to be corrected. For many years we had the best announcer in the area. Not only was he the best announcer, I understand he did many great things for the football program. I have been to just about every Franklin football game in the last 5 years. Something that really was special was our announcer. The energy and enthusiasm he added was great. I do know that he missed last season due to a serious accident. I also know that he was so looking forward to being back this year. I also know that the school in a classless act fired him in an email. This man loves Franklin. If you agree with me and my family, please sign this petition to show that all Franklin fans want Mr. Bloom back and announcing our games. I do not dislike the new announcer, but everyone Friday night agreed at how bad he is. Let's continue to make Franklin Football the best program in Baltimore County, and bring back the best announcer there is.
