I just want to say that it was a pleasure to meet Mr. Dimmer and get to know him. He was always there for students and helped in anyway he could. It's going to be tough taking another pltw class with a different teacher
Dimmer did a great deal for not only the school but for a large majority of the students at Homestead. He showed students different ways to get jobs and pave the pathway to an attainable career.
Best teaher I've ever had. His classes help you learn what to do in many real life situations. One of the nicest and most considerate teachers I've ever had. He not only pushes you to your full potentiall, but does whatever he can to make sure you not only understand the concept, but that you can use it when you need to. Im upset that he wiont be teaching here anymore because he truly held this school together.
Easily one of the best teachers in the school. He taught me more than any other teacher has. And he actually teaches us things that matter.
I don't know the full story, but his resignation has far-reaching effects for so many students at HHS who are now forced to change their schedules with no notice. It's hard to know if speaking up on his behalf will be helpful or not since the situation is confidential. What's the point of this petition? Does Mr. Dimmer truly want to return to HHS and have his side of the story made public?

I believe, in this perfect Union, that it is in the best interest of this fine nation to reinstate Mr. Douglas Dimmer as the PLTW and autos teacher at Homestead High School.

I know he can't come back but I just wanna say I've never had a better teaching experience dimmer did not treat us like students he treated us like coworkers he was there to help us and the classes he taught were on of the few I really enjoyed I just wanna say thanks for the time you spent with us
