Seeing the numbers climb reminds me of how many lives Coach Barnett has touched over these three decades. Let us keep this momentum going until we hit five hundred signatures to show the district exactly how much he means to our community.

Seeing the momentum build for Coach Barnett reminds me of the hundreds of kids whose lives he shaped over three decades in Luling. We are about to hit one hundred signatures and we need to push past that milestone to show the district exactly how much this community values his leadership. Please send the link to one person who knows what he means to our town.

I didn't run XC for coach, but I took anatomy and physiology with him. I think he's the only coach who actually taught me something in a classroom and more importantly, his positive attitude and care and concern toward students is a big influence on how I Try to build relationships with my students.
Oi, Coach Barnett is a great man who has practically given his life to the community and kids in Luling. Although he regularly gets noticed for his accomplishments with the XC team, his impact extends far beyond that. Hopefully the administration can will give this a second look. Best of luck.
Coach Barnett has been doing nothing but good for LISD and all the boys that had been on Luling CC. Let him keep doing what he has been doing for many years. My son didn't run for him, but he really enjoyed his class.
Coach Barnett was actually a mentor coach to my high school coach at Bastrop High school and helped her learn the PAAVO program so that my school could implement it. My coach and Xc changed my life, and she couldn't have done it without Coach Barnett.
He has helped me become a better leader and person. His fire and intensity will make you reconsider the idea of "hard work." He has inspired me to do everything to the fullest and I want to see him continue his legacy! He inspires anyone who is crazy enough to listen!
Bring Back Barnett!!! He was the first teacher i actually wanted to get to know and learn more about what he taught! He is so inspiring and keeps the luling kids going!

Coach Barnett coached my son,and coached him thru 3 state champs in a row,coach Barnett's passion for the kids is amazing and sincere.i have never met a coach that cares for his kids like he does.the coaches you have now is no where as sincere as coach Barnett.you need him back!!
