We, as members of the StuyTown/Peter Cooper Village community, join together in urging the reinstatement of our beloved weekly Saturday Dog Days here on property. These gatherings have not only enhanced the well-being of our four-legged companions but have also played a crucial role in nurturing the strong sense of connection that has always defined our tight-knit community, much like the Community Center, paddleball courts, and playgrounds.

Weekly dog days at the bball courts in pcv - everyone is used to it and gives some break to the residents who always complain around the small off leash area. Using the hockey court brings more noise to the same people who already complain. Sonia is a true gem and ran a great dog days - bring it back!!! Weekly on Saturday, Monday 5pm a lot of us are still working.

Dog Days was an important part of the StuyTown/PCV community. The attendance was always strong and it was socialization for both dogs and residents. Monday evenings starting at 5pm is not convenient for those who work a 9-5 job. Monthly is also not acceptable.

Dog Days allows for community building within StuyTown/PCV. It’s an activity that brings about a variety of individuals (young, old, single, married) allowing for socialization among residents. Lasting relationships are built by attendance, and it’s truly an enjoyable activity for all.

In my 30 years of residence, Dog Days has been the one even that has fostered the most community spirit, providing not just crucial socialization for our four legged family members but us human neighbors as well. It's a crucial way for us to all share information and nurture our connections in this small 2 hour weekly window. We discuss ways to take care of our community and be responsible dog caretakers. This loss of this amenity will be profound. I listened to one of the ST leasing agents talking to a potential family with a dog today mention Dog Days and the family was so excited at this feature. It's another huge selling point to live here and one of the few available for the 3,000 dogs on the property. I hope STPCV reconsiders.

My dog needs exercise and can't use most dog runs. Most have balls hanging around and she gets possessive with balls which can lead to a fight with another dog. Your dog says was one of the only regular places for her to safely run around.

Please Bring Back, our Saturday morning dog days. Was a great way for all of our neighbors to socialize as well as have our dogs exercise. AND more importantly, it was a real community event that so many of us looked forward to every Saturday morning Weather permitted.
