We, the residents of Bushwick, request that Green Central Knoll Park be made accessible and an inclusive outdoor space for our entire community — a place where children can play, families can gather, and neighbors can connect safely with their pets.
Currently, the park operates as a permit-only space, limiting access for nearly all residents. By creating a designated dog run, the park can provide a safe area for pets while keeping the rest of the space family-friendly and enjoyable for everyone.
We believe that through partnership with the Parks Department and local leaders, Green Central Knoll can once again serve as a welcoming, accessible green space for all residents.

One of the dogs in my life, Arlo Marsh, absolutely loves this field, and it provides a wonderful resource for dog owners in this part of Bushwick. Having a dog in the city is never easy, but having spaces like the knoll, makes it a little more so.
I believe there is a peaceful way we can successfully bring together our wonderful community for the benefit of all people, kids, and animals!!!
Save this park for our neighborhood to use
I would love to see this park open to the public again and be able to take my dog back here! It is such a great green space. I’m in favor of a compromise between dog owners and sports teams where there is a designated space for dogs.

Our pets deserve open space to run and enjoy too they don’t harm or bother anyone let the people decide we are the one that give that park purpose it for the PEOPLE!!
