Help support your community by letting our city officials know that we care about this small town and our four legged friends. A community dog park would benefit not only dog owners but non-owners as well. By giving our dogs a safe, off leash place to exercise and socialize, it will lead to more well behaved dogs. And who doesn't want that? With everything negative happening in our town we are in desperate need for a positive. I know it's seems that there are more important issues that should be addressed and I agree, but this is one small step for a better community. And something I think many of us can stand behind.

i honestly cant believe the momentum we have right now. seeing so many people excited for this dog park makes me realize just how much we all want something positive for our town.

I'm so excited to see this long time dream of mine come to fruition! I'm proud of my friends that have helped by signing this petition and believing that we can and will make a positiveimpact in our community because there is power in numbers! Thanks to all who have contributed and we will keep you posted on plans for this great endeavor!
I would love to have s dog park in this town only if we have people to make sure it's clean unlike the other parks. We need to keep the druggies out of it ! I've been to several around the state and I loved them. Some had a pond the dog's can swim in.
I agree, we would have a very long road ahead, however I started this petition to find out how many people in the surrounding areas would be on board with the idea. I actuality didn't need to have any petition to present the idea to the town committee but I figured it would help the cause if there were a significant number of residents in agreement. I am fully aware of the precedings that will come with getting this put together and I will need around a dozen people to meet and begin discussing future plans if you would be interested you can email me for more information: [email protected] Thank you for your concerns and I look forward to speaking with you.

As an animal lover, dog trainer, service dog handler, and dog mom I would back this project more seriously if the following was addressed. 1. A purposed location, 2. A reasonable budget for said park, 3. Vaccine and health restrictions for the park. Parvovirus and Caine flu transmission is outrageously high in the area and it's because dogs aren't properly vaccinated. There's also the issue of proper socialization of dogs and maintenance to the park. It's a great idea I just think you have a while to go before going to petition.
