Final supporters
A wonderful new building program at Bowral Public means that eight classes will be placed across the road at Banyette Street.
We, the families from Bowral Public School, request the closure of the top half of Banyette Street.
This closure will allow our students to move safely between the main school campus and the Banyette block.
There will potentially be hundreds of road crossings by our children each day.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this petition and make Bowral safer for our students!

My daughter walks this way every day and i worry sick. Why is the council taking so long to act on this? DO IT NOW.
Living right near here and watching the traffic is terrifying. Kids are darting out everywhere and drivers just dont look. Close the street before someone gets hurt.
Needs to be done. It is just common sense for the kids safety.
We need LARGE NUMBERS of signatures! Council and Woolworths will respond to significant community concern. The pedestrian safety issue around Bowral Public is a long standing problem and Banyette is only one concern. Boolwey St is also inadequate. Please forward on to any concerned local, family member, friend. Let's aim for 500 + signatures. Thanks! Karina Murray, Catherine Phillips, Lyn Forrester Parents for pedestrian safety
The amount of cars cutting through there is way to high. We need to prioritize the students over a minor detour for commuters.
