South Dublin County Council finally caved and committed the funds to finish the walls. It is a disgrace that it took this much pressure to get them to do their jobs but we forced their hand. Keep an eye on the site to ensure they actually start the work.

Final supporters
The walls on the main road out of our estate are unfinished and unsightly. We are calling on South Dublin County Council to provide funds to complete this job. These ugly walls with exposed brick work are located on a very busy main road with thousands of commuters passing through daily. The plastering of these walls would give a real boost to the entire community.

The momentum behind this is undeniable and South Dublin County Council can no longer pretend these eyesores do not exist. You are showing them that our community refuses to look at these rotting brick walls for one more day.

I agree that these walls are very unsightly and should be completed immediately. We have all paid our property Tax and it should be used for finishing projects like this. Albeit 19 years late!
Definitely need finishing, I live in the downs and the wall is so low on the other side at the ring road. It is used as I short cut. I have had discussions with TD's and trying to get something done.
If I had planning permission instructing me to finish the walls to a standard and I didn't, you'd come after me. Please honor your own committments.
It's galling to see that other estates in our area finished as were originally planned. All we want is equality for the residents of Foxborough.
As part of the Foxborough Residents Group that work extremely hard every week improving our area through litter picks, painting projects, grass verge maintenance etc I wholeheartedly support this campaign. We have waited a long time for this.
Walls are a disgrace + badly need to be done .
Long overdue. It's much needed and will make a positive visual impact on the area.

i was unaware that a committee was operating in foxborough. Derek keating councillor supported the installing of the ramps so perhaps a second political mind may force the co.co. to complete our estate. rossmore builders gave assueances some 18yrs ago by way of a cash lodgement. thanks again for all efforts.
