I am currently organizing the correspondence received from those opposing the mascot change to present directly to the school board members. We are preparing a formal brief that outlines the historical significance of the current name for our upcoming presentation. This documentation will ensure the board understands the volume of community members who want to maintain the status quo.

The recent surge in volume has secured us a formal meeting with the school board representatives. I am currently drafting a letter outlining our position to ensure our stance remains the primary topic on their upcoming agenda.

Totally agree. Tift County Blue Devils forever!
Go Devils!! Nobody asked for this change. Leave our mascot alone.
people are way to sensitive these days. leave the name alone and focus on real problems.
ridiculous. i have been a blue devil my whole life and my kids are too. stop messing with our town identity.
Born and raised here. These people need to find something better to do with their time instead of trying to ruin our history.
