The feedback from neighbors remains constant and highlights how many of us feel misled regarding the promised trail maintenance. I am currently gathering all the documentation of our failed attempts to resolve this with the builder to present as a formal complaint to the County Board of Supervisors.

Seeing this response grow creates a sense of accountability that was missing before. It is clear that the community expects the original promises to be honored regarding these paths. We are building the collective clarity needed to approach the County Board with confidence.

All we ask is that there is follow through in regards to the maintenance of our walking trails, so they can be enjoyed by all. By neglecting maintenance our community is less of a desirable place for families to call home.
There is a trailhead across the street from our house and another one maybe 1/8 mi away on Keystone and they are complete eyesores. They are overgrown and inaccessible.
These are not the trails I was told we'd have a walking path around the community. Guess next time we'll request details and pics of what will be delivered. It's a shame to have such great views while the trail was semi useable and decent bridges that will sit unused.
The trail behind Black Hawk Drive is also a disaster and not what was promised. It's overgrown with weeds and also known as "Rattlesnake Hotel". Lennar needs to step up to the plate to finish these trails to completion.
The trails look worse than they did before they were made. Take a look at the Trails in Folsom - that is what trails should look like, they are actually useable for walking & biking.
Lennar can't just make promises to sell houses, they need to follow through!
Please fix the trail and deliver what was stated in the builders statement of intent.

I didn't even know a trail had gone in. When I purchased in 2013, Lennar made it sound like there would be several trails for us to enjoy.
