Key business leaders and politicians have today joined together to make an impassioned plea for better rail services between Lincoln and London.
They have penned a joint letter urging the three companies bidding to run the East Coast Main Line – between the capital and Edinburgh – to include more direct services to Lincoln.
The letter claims Lincoln's impressive growth in the last decade has not been reflected in the rail services it receives.
