The momentum is real. This is proof that we all want the same changes for our commute.

It is time to seriously consider a new bridge at Deschenes or to bring light rail to Aylmer WAY before 10 years from now - or you need to build more roads, more places of work and less houses! Planning for this area is a disaster.

I work on West Hunt Club and even though the West end of Ottawa is right accross the river, it normally takes me 1hr and 15 mins to get to work in the morning. With no traffic, it takes me 35 mins.

Please widen Lucerne to 3 lanes and make the third lane a change lane as is found on the bridge so it alternates directions in rush hour. Remove the two bike lanes as there is a dedicated bike path within feet of these lanes.

Most ridiculous thing to have a 3-person car pool in Aylmer while the bridge is 2. If you are with someone else in the car, you are carpooling. The carpool lane is mostly empty whike therr other is backed up for a few KMs.

I've lived in Aylmer for 13 years and we've gone from 3 cars waiting to turn right at the Champlain bridge to 30 at 6:50. In another 10 years, we will have to wait an hour to cross the bridge on a good day. Either stop building and expanding Aylmer or build another bridge to alleviate traffic.

I agree that Aylmer road should have the 3 passengers lane to be a 2 passenger lane
Lucerne should remove the bike lane going east and modify the road to 3 lanes. The Champlain bridge should remove a 2 person lane. Open up Robert Stewart and be done with it as we can’t avoid the obvious. Connect the prince of Wales bridge with Ottawa to have one of the trains cross over.
