Improve Traffic Patterns in Campbell Place
Campbell Place streets are used as cut-through streets and traffic speeds are dangerous especially for children crossing the streets/waiting for the bus and residents walking their pets or exercising in the neighborhood.
We should not have to wait for a resident, child or pet to get hurt before making a change.
Let’s advance the recommendations made by residents to Amy Peck's office:
1 - Make Anne and Larston Street a 4-way stop.
2 - Make Anne and Westview a 4-way stop or add flashing lights during school start/end times and morning and evening rush hour traffic (6:00 am - 9:00 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm)
3 - Make Adkins and Elizabeth a 3-way stop.

I am truly overwhelmed by how many neighbors have reached out to share their own experiences with these dangerous intersections. It is clear that I am not the only one worried about our streets, and this progress is entirely due to you taking the time to speak up.

people use these streets like a highway to skip the lights on campbell road. its ridiculous and someone is going to get hit on their bike soon.
There are no sidewalks on Anne and Elizabeth. This means our residents walk and play on the roads. It is important to have traffic stop to ensure they remain aware of children
prefer flashing lights to a stop sign at Westview and Anne. agree with other stop signs.
Children are walking to and from school on Westview Drive so we need to make it as safe as possible. Also, many people use Anne St as a "cut through" to avoid waiting at the lights, causing more traffic on a side street without sidewalk protection.
agreed Adkins is like a race track. should have a three way Stop at Larston as well with speed bumps

Have lived in Westview for 30 years traffic and speeding has gotten worse and dangerous. At times when i'm turning into my housep cars just pass me because they do not want to slow down. It is a 30mph zone and it seems more like a 75. Not to mention the drag racing at night. Neighter Spring Valley PD or HPD seem to want to take ownership of the section between Campbell and Blalock it has become a no man's zone
