This petition is being provided to you, a homeowner in Anthem Ridge, at the request of our HOA. The intent of this petition is to substantiate the Anthem Ridge owner's interest in revising the current park to a small, covered playground.
Currently our community needs to drive 2.1 miles to the Freedom Landing Schoolyard playground or 1.6 miles to the Crosswater Park playground to access any kid friendly play area. The Anthem Ridge park is currently a grassy area with a bench, a few trees and a pet waste can.
The Crosswater HOA representative, Alan Anderson, suggested getting any other homeowners that also want something different in the park to sign their name to a petition that he can present to the developers.
Please sign this petition if you would like to see the developers revise the current park to a small, covered playground.

I have been hearing from many of you that the current lack of local play space makes daily life difficult for our children. I am currently preparing the signature list to present to the developers so please text three neighbors and ask them to sign today.

We have reached a critical level of support that proves to the developers that our neighborhood demands a better park. Email your HOA representative today to demand they schedule an immediate meeting to review these results.

We definitely expected a playground in this neighborhood especially since one is not in easy walking distance especially for those with toddlers. This neighborhood is one with the largest homes in Crosswater so you can expect a lot of children and it will be safer to know they are close rather then having to go on the main road or in another neighborhood.
Our active children, Cole (4 years) and GG (17 months), would greatly benefit from a playground walkable to our home on lot 30 in Anthem Ridge.

Our 5yr old would love a playground and I guess we assumed with how far the closest one is that there would already be plans to build one here. The same with a dog park, even just a small fenced in area for pups to run would be great! I know there are a lot of pet friendly home coming to the neighborhood.

A playground would be a great addition to our neighborhood and a fenced in dog park if possible too!
Very surprised that this neighborhood doesn’t have a shaded playground for children. We would love to see this happen. Also, a small dog park, if possible. Thank you!

We’d love a playground for our son. When we signed to build in Anthem we made the assumption there would be as all other communities have one.
