they finally folded and the ban is officially lifted so we can get back to playing. i honestly cant believe we pulled this off but the bars are stoked and everything is back to normal. thanks for sticking with me on this one.
We are currently at a point where we are finding that playing the game we love is banned, which puts our Small Business owners in a bad way. Let's show our government here in NYS that we want to be able to play the games we love while supporting the establishments that we love and love us.
Everyone has their own darts, a meal is always provided and this brings great business to the small businesses who need it most right now!

Having been a member of our local dart league for years, I've come to know our league members and the bar owners who sponsor our teams quite well. It gives us a social avenue we value, and provides local bars with needed patronage. I believe it is worth discussing how we can get back to these activities

What I can tell you, is that our local dart league, the SDDL, has proposed Covid guidelines for the resumption of play, that meet or exceed the spirit of safety that NYS is espousing. Social distancing, sanitation, and the like have all been taken into account as we petition the state.

I think social distancing is a good thing, it can be controlled.but these merchants and business people are trying to make a living, Many of us have been going to the bank for the last 5 months after a while the well runs dry.it's very hard to pay your bills, your mortgage and raise a family when your business has been closed. A lot of them have lost their businesses. Darts, pool and games are a way of life for us Islander's. Bring back the fun please, we've suffered enough don't you think.

Bar games such as darts can definitely be played in a bar setting while maintaining social-distancing protocols. These games, especially in an organized league setting where COVID19 restriction could be more formally monitored, are a vital life line for these small businesses who are currently facing dire circumstances.

HOPEFULLY THIS COVID THING IS COMING TO A CLOSE IN OUR REGION. I CAN SEE NO SOLID REASON WHY WE SHOULD BE DEPRIVED FROM RECREATION THAT WE ENJOY IN OUR LEAGUES. LAST NIGHT GOV. COMO SIGNED A GUIDANCE FOR POOL HALLS TO OPEN. I'M NOT SURE IF THIS INCLUDES BARS, BUT I CANNOT SEE ANY VALID REASON WHY IT WOULD NOT. I FEEL THAT WE HAVE BEEN DEPRIVED FROM AN A SOCIAL ACTIVITY THAT WE ALL ENJOY, AND IT'S HIGH TIME THAT GOV. COMO ACCEPTS THE FACT THAT WE ARE ACCEPTING HIS CURRENT GUIDELINES AS FAR AS SOCIAL DISTANANCE ARE CONSERVED0, AND STAND WILLING TO COMPLY WITH ANYTHING TO GET OUR LEAGUES GOING AGAIN.
