Spades lounge is a resturant and bar in cohoes ny who recieved a liqour lisence and the mayor william keeler opposed the liqour lisence. State liqour authority took it away because of the bogus letter the mayor wrote. The letter was written out of spite and political unjustifiable causes. Lets show everyone that bad politics cannot shut down a woman business in such a bad economic time. Spades lounge gave many cohoes residents jobs during this covid crisis and invested there own money for all improvements at this location. Lets fight and help get the lounge their lisence back and put employees back to work.

I have been spending my nights reviewing the letters sent to the mayor and looking for any path forward for the staff who rely on this place. The silence from city hall is telling but we are not backing down while people are out of work because of these petty games.

It would be a great travesty not to allow this business to open up and thrive, as well as provide tax revenues for the city of Cohoes. We all need to realize that this city needs help and why would you want to close the doors on a business that is so willing to open up and contribute?
Let the WOMAN owned business prosper and grow stop halting something that will help the economy and atmosphere in Cohoes grow to be great
Let this woman run her stuff not to often we see places that willing to invest there own money and try and give people jobs in such a trying time stop the nonsense and let her open her business if this mayor can’t do the job correctly let someone else do the job it such a shame to see this I hope all gose well and they let you open
Wake up Cohoes , you've got a new business and lots of people waiting to patronize this new Restaurant , which helps your Tax revenues.
This bar is going to be a change in the community of cohoes which is much needed ! Great people are running this place and I can’t wait to be a part of it

Let them open up and serve the a good people of Cohoes... The owners have literaly spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to rebulld an old bar into a restautant lounge. .. Quit being a political pain in the ass for once and issue them their operations license...
