Most Arcades in Washington State are small businesses. They are run by families, they are started with friends, and they bring communities together.
We understand the need for extra safety precautions during these times of covid-19. However, if our state is allowing casinos, gyms, movie theaters, restaurants, bars and the mall to be open, then arcades should be able to as well. As long as arcades are complying with the same safety standards that is set forth.
If you do not agree with Gov. Inslee’s decision in targeting arcades as seedy, and believe they should be able to operate before phase 4, please take the time to sign our petition.
Thank you for your time.
Arcades are no different than going to the grocery store where you touch carts, freezer door handles and checkout machines.

So long as they can ensure that people are playing safely and sanitize the machines, there's no reason they shouldn't be open.

Knowing Les fairly well I imagine he is going crazy trying to provide for his family while trying to apply logic as to why was
Wallmart allowed to operate and Dorkys shutdown, especially this long.

I'd rather be exposed to 10 people I likely know playing pinball than 100 people I don't know shopping. Atms, self check out kiosks, credit card machines, gas pumps, etc. are likely more contaminated than a pinball machine. Mental health is better supported by community, comradery, and games than by shopping. Our governor constantly talks about how he wants to be "equitable," yet leaves gamers, game operators, and venue owners in the dust. Legalize pinball! We've already gone through pinball prohibition once!

If McDonalds and Walmart can be open then the small businesses should be open too.

Stop the madness and reopen small business. Big box stores are bustling and not following social distancing and then some. Stop the destruction of our state
