We have had to remove the beautiful flowers from our Ramsgate Ala Turka due to a few issues and concerns from others. We want the Flowers located at Ala Turka Ramsgate to improve the area and to make Ramsgate more inviting for people to relax enjoying the views of Ramsgate and to see beautiful flowers. Please sign this in support of the Flower Planters returning. Thank you for your support.
I really thought this might just be a small neighborhood thing but looking at how fast this is growing is actually overwhelming and honestly pretty cool. It makes me realize how many people actually care about seeing those planters back where they belong because honestly the street feels so empty without them now.

I do not understand why the flower boxes have had to be removed from outside Ala Turka they were a very nice addition to the front. They were not an obstacle, there was plenty of room to pass on the pavement in fact there was more space there than on the pavement along the harbour wall often people have to walk in the road there due to the narrow paving area. Many of the other establishments make it difficult for pedestrians to pass during the day with their tables and chairs why has the council discriminated against this particular business?

This business made assumptions about what would be acceptable and did not seek permission. This is public space, not for the exclusive use for the business and its patrons.

Bring the planters back. My mum is in a wheelchair and there’s still plenty of room to use the footpath.

There was plenty of room for prams and wheelchairs etc. I cannot fit my pram past rokka etc so why are they allowed?!
This was beautiful especially next to the terrible pleasurama site.

I would like to support the A La Turka, Herne Bay petition to keep its glass fronted seating area. The owners of this much favoured venue by members of the local community, should be receiving a more positive response from the local council rather than trying to hinder its advancement in attracting good clientle to a prime site, instead of letting the whole seafront area turning into a dilapidated state like some of the neighbouring properties! Well done to the owner and staff of the A La Turka. Thank you for all that you do for the good of Herne Bay
