Ons, as studente van Stellenbosch, dring aan op ‘n posisie vir onderrig in Afrikaans aan die Universiteit Stellenbosch. Ons maak so aanspraak op ons plek as kinders van Afrika in ‘n gees van samewerking en wedersydse respek. Ons verwerp enige versoek wat daarop gemik is om Afrikaans as onderrigtaal uit te sluit in ‘n land met ‘n veeltalige grondwet.
We, as students of Stellenbosch, insist on a position for Afrikaans as language of tuition at Stellenbosch University. By doing this, we stake our claim as children of Africa in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect. We oppose any attempt aimed at excluding Afrikaans as language of instruction in a country with a multilingual constitution.
