I honestly never thought we would see this kind of momentum when I first started typing this up at my kitchen table while staring at those ridiculous legal bills. It feels like the neighborhood is finally waking up to the fact that our money is just vanishing into some void and that realization is honestly pretty powerful.

The only ones benefitting from further litigation at this point are the lawyers. To think it requires 500k to push some papers around is downright maddening all by itself. I concur that that time, effort and money is better spent collaborating rather than futilely obstructing. Outstretched hands make better neighbors than clenched fists.
The board needs to listen to it's residence, this is wasteful spending and should not happen. We have flooding issues that are more important to the residence than this.
I will not allow my tax dollars to be wasted on litigation! ITID has a responsibility to maintain drainage, roads, and parks with our tax dollars, NOT throw it away on attorneys to fight a losing battle. I will no longer remain quiet.
I am against Minto but I think using these funds to fight it is inappropriate and probably won't help.
My ITID supervisors have already spent over 1/2 Million $$$ of my tax money on these endeavors. I implore them to stop this foolish spending on futile litigation that may cost the District of a Million More hard earned tax dollars.

Could you please just stick to the task at hand...maintaining what you already have! If you didnt want Minto to have the land, you should have bought it from Callery...too late now...get over it. Try working WITH instead of against. You need all the help you can get..
