It is no secret that most college students have or regularly stay up extremely late studying on campus, but what about when it is time to walk home? While SureWalk is an option, it is often seen as unnecessary or a waste of time by students just wishing to get home as fast as possible. Often, while no real danger may be present, it is the peace of mind provided to students walking home late at night that counts. No one should have to feel scared or uneasy walking around the neighborhood they call home. While streets like Rio Grande are already extremely well lit, there is still much work to be done on smaller, more secluded streets throughout West Campus.
