We call upon Transport for London (TfL) to install a new a bus stop on Wimbledon Park Road near the junction of Bathgate Road and Victoria Drive, in the direction of Southfields to serve the bus routes 493 and 39. We are asking for the new stop as it offers a more convenient location for many residents in the area, particularly for residents who currently walk a long distance to the bus stop for the 493.

Transport for London has ignored this community for too long but this surge in signatures proves they can no longer pretend we do not exist. We are turning up the heat on these bureaucrats until they finally put a stop where it belongs.

Hugely beneficial to make it much easier and quicker to get to the District Line.
I live on queensmere road and often end up walking all the way to Southfields as there is no bus stop near me . I have a small baby and a bus stop would make life much easier
For the elderly living around here not only is it a long walk it’s up an incline on the direction of Southfields. It needs to be closer.
I am over 60 , I use the route , I have a long walk on the other direction. A bus stop will really help me and other older persons.
This new bus stop will be so helpful, current bus stops for 39 and 493 so far apart. Makes sense to match the other side of the road.
I use the 39 bus and applaud this campaign.
New bus stop will save my legs!

As a former resident of Royal Close and frequent visitor I can attest that this is truly needed to bridge the gap between existing stops.
