We, the undersigned, call for the resignation of Councillor Felicity

Baker as a Councillor representing Portishead, North Somerset, because

of her abusive behaviour towards other councillors at the Portbury Wharf

Nature Reserve Scrutiny Meeting at Weston Super Mare Town Hall on

Wednesday 25th May 2016.

We believe that Councillor Felicity Baker has broken North Somerset

Council's Code of Conduct by her behaviour, which is "to promote and

support high standards of conduct when serving in your public post... by

leadership and example".

Updates

June 19, 2016

The momentum is undeniable now. It is clear that this community will not tolerate such conduct.

Shocking to watch this executive member of North Somerset Council mouthing obscenities in the council chamber. If council employees acted that way towards Cllr Baker, staff or the public they would be disciplined accordingly and possibly sacked. It is time for this bullish behaviour from councillors to stop.

I attended this meeting and saw at first hand the way Counvillor Baker responded to the speeches of her fellow Councillors. I was very disappointed to have to observe such arrogant behaviour, displayed in full view is several members of the public.

After not even bothering to attend her surgery where residnest were waiting to speak with her, then uttering an obscenity toward another Councillor and smirking all through an important meeting, she obviously shows no respect for the Code of Conduct expected of Councillors.

Appalling attitude. We need to send a strong message as to what is acceptable of a person in a position of standing in our community.
