I declare that I am a resident of the Philadelphia School District, that I am eighteen (18) years of age or older, that I am signing this Petition, and that I knowingly include my name, address and signature on this Petition to:
1.Support the School District of Philadelphia's approval of the Application for a Charter School of the String Theory Charter School - East Falls to open in the 2015/2016 school year with full knowledge of this Petition; and
2.Appeal the 2014/2015 decision of the Philadelphia School District School Reform Commission to reject the application of the String Theory Charter School - East Falls to establish a charter school in the Philadelphia School District in the 2015/2016 school year with full knowledge of this Petition.

The refusal to engage with our proposal remains frustrating but it does not change the facts of what East Falls needs. We are continuing to push forward behind the scenes to ensure our appeal is heard by the right people.

East Falls needs this school badly. My kids would thrive in an arts program like this one and honestly the current options just aren't cutting it.
WHY WAS IT REJECTED?? Makes no sense. This city keeps holding back programs that actually give kids a future.

Need more options here asap. Really hoping this gets approved.
