Family Dollar thinks they can just walk into Medina and gut our local economy for their own profit. I am currently spending every waking hour putting pressure on the zoning board to block their predatory expansion. They want us to stay quiet while they destroy our community but I am not backing down.

The massive outpouring of support shows that Medina will not roll over and let a faceless corporate chain bulldoze our local economy. These executives think they can just walk in and exploit our community for profit but this momentum proves we are ready to fight back until they pack up and leave for good.

Family Dollar needs to stay out of Medina. It is always followed by the eyesore of Dollar General, then other franchises. Keep Medina rural!
Don't need the store, medina has survived this long on local stores and don't need a corporation. Like family dollar moving in. It will kill local farmers who sell there crops during trade days. Or farmers market days.Not to count out the local craftsmen and woman who also sell there product to surrounding areas. Keep Medina it's small local community strong and un commercialised!!

I grew up in medina. Medina does not need no big stores going in. Medina is just fine the way it is. Keep medina small.
I do not want a Family Dollar in Medina, TX. The stores are a mess, and I enjoy the local shops.

Even if I did not work at The Old Timer,or if it did not even exist. I would want the best for Medina ,and that is independently owned businesses,even franchises. That is not the case with this corporation. Shop small yall!
