Seeing this grow has been exhausting but necessary work. I am tired of the silence surrounding our profession and this response proves others are feeling the weight of it too.

They witness everything through the headset. The stress is unbelievable. Do the right thing.
They deal with so much trauma on the phones all day. It is about time they get the same benefits as the cops and fire guys.
Finally. Dispatchers are first responders too. Stop acting like they arent.
LONG OVERDUE. I hope the legislators actually listen to this one for once.
My wife works the overnight shift and it is brutal. These people keep us safe and deserve to retire with dignity.
