Making homework due at 11:59pm is not fair to my fellow students and I. Many students work and do not have sufficient time to submit their best work by 11:59pm. Also, personally I know that I have continually done my homework the morning following due to pure exhaustion. Also, many students complete homework in learning labs and Titan Time, etc. Due to the above stated reasons I believe it is a disservice to my fellow students and myself to continue allowing this grade destroying time known to many as 11:59pm. This is why I believe ALL homework regardless of time assigned should only be due at the start of class at least 20 hours post-assignment.

11:59 is just unnecessary stress. we are already busy enough with sports and clubs, let us just turn it in when class starts.
YES. make it due at the start of class. i literally do half my work in the morning anyway

Late sign and I don't even go here, but I completely agree and will stand by this. Before COVID, homework was always due before the period started. I'm not even band, but I feel so bad for them because they literally get home at 9PM during season, along with people in athletics who often have games running late. We have lives and other responsibilities throughout the day, it's completely inconsiderate to students, causes their grades to suffer, and is all-in-all an extreme stressor for students.
