We, the students of Netaji Nagar Day College affiliated with Calcutta University, are asking for one urgent and fair step: arrange a special exam batch procedure so our careers are not ruined by a problem we did not create.

Many of us paid our hard-earned money for the final exam form fill-up and trusted the college authorities to do their part. Instead, our registration has been cancelled, and the university is now saying we must take readmission from the beginning. For students who have already completed their work and filed forms for the upcoming semester, this is not a small delay. It can destroy years of effort and push ordinary middle-class students into serious academic loss.

Right now, the college and the university are playing blame games while students are left to suffer. We have receipts and bank transaction records, and we are ready to show them. We believe this matter needs a proper review of what happened, clear responsibility from the authorities, and a solution that protects innocent students instead of punishing them.

We also ask that the matter not be hushed up. Students should not be forced to carry the cost of poor faculty, missing notes, administrative failure, or any financial wrongdoing in the system. The future of young people should not be sacrificed because adults in charge failed to do their duty.

We respectfully request the authorities to hold a fair inquiry, accept the valid form fill-up records, and create a special exam arrangement for the affected students. Save our academic year, and save our careers before it is too late.
