To the Respected College Administration,
We, the students of the college, respectfully request that the CA2 Examination be rescheduled to an earlier suitable date, especially the examination planned for 15th October, Panchami. That date falls right at the start of Durga Puja, including Tritiya, Chaturthi, and Panchami, when many students in Kolkata and across West Bengal are deeply engaged in the most important and eagerly awaited festive period of the year.
Durga Puja is not just a holiday for us. It is part of our cultural and social life, a time when students look forward all year to spending meaningful time with family, friends, and loved ones, and to taking part in the celebrations that bring our communities together. When an important exam is placed during these days, it creates real pressure and forces students to choose between academic responsibility and a moment that matters greatly to our lives and identity.
We fully respect the importance of the CA2 Examination and understand that its marks contribute to our final semester evaluation. Our request is not to avoid academic responsibility. It is only to ask for a more considerate and student-friendly schedule that allows us to prepare properly for the examination without losing the chance to participate in Durga Puja with peace of mind.
We therefore humbly ask the administration to conduct the CA2 examinations before Durga Puja, preferably on an earlier suitable date. We sincerely hope our collective request will be heard and considered with kindness.
Respectfully,
The Students
Puja is the only vacation we can celebrate freely as a MAKAUT student please don't spoil it. It's unbearable for our mental health.
