Respected Sir/Madam
It is a humble request from hundreds from students across many colleges affiliated under the Calcutta University to conduct online semester examinations. As students have not yet been vaccinated against the Covid19 virus, it is a big risk for students and teachers alike to give offline exams.
Also, now that there is a new strain of the virus feared of surfacing in India, there is now saying of how big of a risk it might be.
The rallies for state elections for West Bengal are also a major concern. Therefore for the safety of the students and teachers the board of Calcutta University and the Affiliated colleges are requested to conduct online exams.

I am currently compiling our petition data to present directly to the university administration. Post this link on Facebook and text three friends to keep the pressure on our officials. Email your department head today to demand they prioritize our safety over offline testing.

The sheer number of students joining this fight shows university officials we are united. Call your college representative today to demand they bring our concerns to the board meeting. Post this link on your department Facebook group to get the word out.

Syllabus shesh hoyni thik moto ar tar upor abar offline exam. Eita thik na please online e korar arrangement korun.
With the elections happening and so many crowds everywhere it makes no sense to jam students into rooms for exams. Stay safe.
How can we travel to exam centers with cases rising everywhere? My parents are worried sick about me going out right now. Please keep it online.
I don't think so talking offline exams is a good idea as the students have yet not been vaccined
Taking exams offline is gonna be a very big risk to students life. One can affect hundreds or even thousand and also.the new starin is up which spreads at a even faster rate so exams shouldn't be taken offline
Please conduct online exams for safety of students..

As long as vaccine does not have reached Calcutta so it is still not safe to give exams in college. So please take exams online
