To: The Board of Directors, CanBIM
We, the students of the July 2025 Batch of the Post Graduate Diploma in BIM & Construction Management delivered by BRAINS Institute Peshawar, respectfully submit this petition requesting that CanBIM issue the CanBIM Foundations Software Skills – Proficient (S4) certification to all students who successfully completed the program.
When we enrolled in July 2025, the diploma was officially advertised and promoted as a CanBIM-affiliated program. The institute also held an official CanBIM accreditation certificate for the Post Graduate Diploma in BIM & Construction Management, issued by CanBIM under Certificate ID: FC39791, with a published validity period from 1 August 2024 to 30 September 2026.
This accreditation and the international recognition associated with CanBIM were among the primary reasons we chose to enroll in this diploma. We relied on these official representations in good faith and committed our time, effort, and financial resources to successfully complete the program.
After we had already enrolled and progressed through the diploma, we were informed that the institute's CanBIM accreditation had been terminated and that our batch would not receive CanBIM certification. Our final results were officially declared on 23 July 2026, after we had fulfilled all academic requirements of the program.
We believe that students who enrolled while the program was officially accredited and publicly represented as CanBIM affiliated should not be deprived of the certification they were promised because of matters that arose after their admission and were entirely beyond their control.
Therefore, we respectfully request that CanBIM:
- Recognize the eligibility of the July 2025 PGD-BIM batch.
- Issue the CanBIM Foundations Software Skills – Proficient (S4) certification to all students who successfully completed the program.
- Review our case directly with representatives of our batch and BRAINS Institute to ensure that the commitment made to enrolled students is honored.
This petition is not about seeking special consideration. It is about ensuring that students who enrolled in good faith under an officially accredited program receive the certification that formed a key part of the program's advertised value.
We respectfully request the CanBIM Board to review our case and grant the certification to our batch.
Please support this petition by signing and sharing it. Your support will help ensure that students who fulfilled every academic requirement receive the certification they were promised.
Thank you.
Because I applied for official CAN BiM certificate now they are saying only UK CPD will be awarded.
