*Petition to the Minister of Higher Education, Technology, and Innovation, and the Engineering Council of Namibia (ECN)*
We, the students and graduates of the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) in Namibia, urge the government and the ECN to recognize our qualifications and grant us the status of Incorporated Engineer or Professional Engineer.
Despite completing a recognized engineering program, EIT graduates face challenges in obtaining professional registration with the ECN, limiting our career prospects and hindering Namibia's development.
We request:
- Recognition of EIT qualifications by the ECN
- Inclusion of EIT graduates in the registration process for Incorporated Engineer or Professional Engineer
- Support for our professional development and contributions to Namibia's growth

WHAT ABOUT OUR FUTURE???
Spent so much money on this degree just to be stuck. Please fix this alignment between bodies.
The conflicting stance between NQA and ECN puzzles me, systems needs alignment so the development of Namibia and qualification attained around the world which accredited qualification is upheld.
ECN must recognize the online study, they must request the syllabus of the course and the outline to understand.
As a student currently enrolled with Eit in Australia, i urge the responsible authorities accredit, and recognise our institution, as it is recognised in many countries the world over.
