The citizens in the Birmingham 35211 zip code of the Oxmoor Valley seek to have a change of the current zip code. We feel in order to be served more effectively by the US Postal Service a new postal boundary with a new ZIP Code should be created for this area of the Oxmoor Valley.
There will be a request for hand written signatures as soon as the e-petition is completed.

I have spent my mornings talking with neighbors who are tired of missing their mail and packages due to this outdated boundary. These stories are exactly what I plan to bring to the post office when I submit our formal request for a change.

Seeing this groundswell of support proves that I am not the only one frustrated by the mail delays holding back our neighborhood. This momentum shows that the powers at the postal service can no longer look away from the reality of life in Oxmoor Valley.

ITS ABOUT TIME. my packages never show up on time and i am sick of it
Oxmoor deserves better service than what we have been getting lately.
Please change our zip code.
