Affordable rental housing is an integral and welcome part of our community. Many families in our neighborhood need affordable rental housing. The Zapata Apartments will provide well-maintained apartments for low- and moderate-income families in Logan Square.
We, the undersigned, affirm that working-class families deserve decent and affordable homes.
We support construction of the Zapata Apartments as soon as possible. We support a commitment of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds for the development in 2010.
We pledge to reach out to our neighbors and work with our elected officials to ensure that this much-needed housing is built as soon as possible.

My family has lived here for years and its getting impossible to find a place we can afford. Please build these.
TIF funds should go to things that actually help the community like this. Get it done.
sick of seeing affordable housing blocked by ppl who already have their own homes. build the zapata apartments.
Build it now. Working families deserve to live here too.
Logan Square needs this. Rent is getting way to high everyone is being pushed out of the neighborhood.
